Thanks to the speed of the boat there’s a good chance to meet these splendid mammals and observe their behaviour.
In this stretch of water there is the highest concentration of cetaceans in all the Mediterranean. It is easy to find bottlenose dolphins (large dolphins who love to follow the wakes of ships) and it is not as rare as you think to meet Mediterranean whales (second only in size to the blue whale), and spotted dolphins (small dolphins that move in shoals and make spectacular jumps out of the sea).
