Trip in kayak round Cape Corsica |  | A great week getting to know the coast of the “finger” of Corsica well, one of the most beautiful and historic stretches of coast in all of the Mediterranean. | | 2011 dates: | dates on request for groups of minimum 6 persons | | Price: | € 890 per person | The package includes: 7 days on a sailing boat with guided Kayak or Hiking excursions as programme, 7 overnight stays on a boat, Kayak and necessary equipment, return passenger ferry ticket to Elba, all transfers on the Island of Elba (until 8 persons), insurance, technical assistance during the excursions.
The package does not include: the return trip from place of departure to Piombino, any return ferry passage for cars, all meals, extras and anything not specified in the entry “The package includes”. | | Groups are for a maximum of 8 people. | | |
Programme of the trip round Cape Corsica in Kayak:
| | Saturday | arrive on Elba, embarkation on board and overnight stay. | | Sunday | leave Elba on the sailing boat, arrive at Sant Florence in the evening | | Monday | 1st leg: S. Florence – Nonza | | Tuesday | 2nd leg: Nonza - Centuri | | Wednesday | 3rd leg: Centuri - Macinaggio | | Thrsday | 4th leg: Macinaggio Erbalunga | | Friday | leave Corsica on the sailing boat and return to Elba | | Saturday | disembark and departure. | | | Both the possibility to make the excursions and the time taken to do so are dependent on sea conditions, the legs of this programme are therefore only an indications. If it is not possible to do the kayak excursions we will do hiking excursions instead. We supply: the sailing boat, the sea kayak and appropriate equipment, the tents, watertight bags (total 35 litres). What to bring: sleeping bag, hiking clothes (alternative programme in case of rough sea), snorkelling equipment (advisable), a torch, a lightweight wet suit in neoprene, trainers or strong sandals, hat or headscarf, sunglasses, sun cream.
