Whale Watching – discovering whales and dolphins around the Island of Elba and in the Cetacean sanctuary

Whale Watching: from Friday to Sunday between Elba, Capraia and Corsica.

The price includes: 2 day cruise with an environmental guide as programme, 2 overnight stays on the boat, return passenger ferry ticket to Elba, all transfers on the Island of Elba (until 8 persons), insurance, technical assistance during the excursions.
The price does not include: the return journey from departure place to Piombino, any car ferry tickets, all meals, extras and all that is not specified in the voice “The package  includes”.

The groups are made up of a maximum of 8 people

The cruise is in the heart of the cetacean sanctuary, between the eastern coast of Corsica and the western one of the Island of Elba, also including the Islands of Capraia, Pianosa and Montecristo.  In this stretch of water there is the highest concentration of cetaceans in all the Mediterranean.  It is easy to find bottlenose dolphins (large dolphins who love to follow the wakes of ships) and it is not as rare as you think to meet Mediterranean whales (second only in size to the blue whale), and the spotted dolphins (small dolphins that move in shoals and make spectacular jumps out of the sea).  With our sailing boat, commanded by an expert skipper and in the company of an environmental guide who is specialised in sightings and recognition of cetaceans we will make a three day boat excursion to find and study these marvellous inhabitants of our seas.
